WATCH — International Women’s Day. SA women speak

The United Nations has marked 8 March as a day to commemorate International Women’s Day (#IWD2018). The theme for 2018 is “Time is Now: Rural and urban activists transforming women’s lives“.

In recognition of this day on the international calendar, Spotlight Africa spoke to four South African women who reflected on the plight of women at home, in the workplace and in society. They share their hopes for gender justice locally and globally.

This video was produced by Katleho Khang and Frank Tuson for Spotlight Africa.
